Poverty, Money . . . and Love (Jessica Jackley - TED Talk)

I was quite taken by the authenticity and engaging style of Jessica Jackley, a co-founder of Kiva.  Kiva provides funding for micro projects helping the poor . . . small money from real people to real people that make a huge difference.  You can check out their incredible work at www.kiva.org.

My favourite part is near the end where she says that she is not going to engage in a discussion about convincing people to care because she knows . . . we already care deeply.

Hey!!  I'm That Poverty Guy . . . let's make a world of difference together.

  2. I totally agree. She has an authenticity . . . a "realness" . . . that is very compelling.
