The Girl Effect

The following is a powerful 3 minute video produced by www.girleffect.org.  As you will undoubtedly hear from many sources, education of girls combined with proper health care is one of the keys to breaking the poverty cycle in countless places.

    love this video!!! it shows how the cycle goes..for too many. We can help stop this....there is time to help! i love that it leaves on a positive note....

    That's the thing . . . ending poverty IS a good news story. We're just on the wrong side of the story at the moment, but working together there are things we can do to eliminate poverty and get to the happy ending.
